Campus Skateparks
We proudly operate two very different skateparks in two separate locations approximately 12 miles apart. The Pool in Bishopsworth, South Bristol, and The Park in Winterbourne, North Bristol.
Campus Pool
The former Bishopsworth Swimming Pool closed in 2012, following the opening of Hengrove Park Leisure Centre. In November 2014 it was announced that the building would be reused to house an indoor skatepark. Work to build the skatepark began in March 2015 and The Pool was offically opened in July 2015.

Campus Pool is a purpose-built indoor concrete skatepark built in an old Swimming pool. Featuring a world-class street-based park with amazing old pool decor. Great for all ages & abilities.
After running a successful round of crowdfunding, we managed to raise £7k to build a mini ramp and beginners section. The mini ramp room is accessible through the existing skatepark and is made out of high-impact Birch ply, making it a little more forgiving than the main concrete section.
There is a fully stocked skate shop in the reception area where you can pick up new decks, a complete setup, wheels, bearings as well as clothing and shoes. Our friendly staff are always happy to help with any advice or recommendations.

We have a changing/locker area just before you enter the skatepark. This is a great place to change shoes or pad up before and after each session. Check out our video below for a tour around the building.
At Campus Pool we offer a wide range of sessions for different age groups, abilities and disciplines. Take a look at our Timetable to discover which session works best for you. Daily/weekly sessions include Toddler Takeover, Junior Mash Up, Skateboards only, Family Skate, Beginners only & Girls only plus more…. However we also host a variety of targeted sessions on Saturday evenings, with regular nights such as CIB Bristol Quad Night, LGBTQ+, Surf Skate Night and over 30’s. If you are looking to learn to skateboard then Campus Pool is the venue for our fantastic weekly tuition sessions lead by our team of experienced skateboard tutors. Head over to our Tuition page for more information.
Every School Holiday we also offer Skate Club. A day of skatepark based activities for 7-12 year olds.
We also offer the opportunity to hire the skatepark. These Private Hire Sessions are available on both Saturday and Sunday Afternoon. For more information see our Private Hire page.
The Pool is also home to The Daily Grind Cafe Bar. serving excellent Pizza, cakes, coffee, beer and wine.
Campus Park
Campus Park began life as a youth centre, the space was then converted to a transition-based wooden indoor skatepark facility. Fit for all abilities, disciplines, and ages

The entrance is located on the decking to the side of the building, which takes you straight into the Cafe and shop area. You are welcome to sit and enjoy the excellent coffee and pizzas. We also have a selection of board games to play. Our wood-burning stove offers great warmth and atmosphere on a cold day.
The shop at the Park sells a variety of goods, such as decks, complete set ups, wheels, bearings, and clothing. At this location we exclusively stock scooters and scooter-related hardware. Our friendly staff are always happy to help with any advice or recommendations.

There is a locker area towards the back where you can leave bags and other belongings while you use the skatepark.
As you walk into the skatepark you will notice that the first room has been completely rebuilt with all the ramps being stitched into the floor. This room is perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a good ledge session.
